Every project runs the same way, whether it's one bathroom or a whole house. You'll know what's happening now, what's next, and who to call about it.

HOW WE WORK
The sequence
STAGE 01
Consultation
Every project begins with a consultation where we take the time to understand your vision, goals, and priorities. We discuss your budget, timeline, and overall expectations while answering any questions you may have. This step helps ensure we fully understand the scope of the project before moving forward.
STAGE 02
Planning
Once the project details are clear, we move into the planning phase. During this stage we define the full scope of work, select materials, coordinate with any necessary trades, and create a clear construction schedule. Proper planning keeps the project organized and prevents delays down the line.
STAGE 03
Construction
With planning complete, construction begins. Our team manages the project closely, coordinating trades, materials, and timelines to keep everything running smoothly. We maintain clear communication throughout the build and focus on delivering high-quality workmanship at every stage.
STAGE 04
Completion
As the project wraps up, we complete a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. Any final details are addressed, and we make sure the space is clean, finished, and ready to enjoy. Our goal is to deliver a completed project you'll be proud of for years to come.
WHO DOES WHAT
Yours & Ours
Most of the stress in a build comes from not knowing who's responsible for what. Pick a stage and here's the split.

YOU DECIDE
Share your goals, must-haves, and nice-to-haves
Give us a budget range you're comfortable with
Let us know your ideal start window
Bring any drawings, inspection reports, or HOA rules
RYDR HANDLES
Define the full scope of work in writing
Build the construction schedule and sequence the trades
Coordinate drawings and permitting where the job needs it
YOU DECIDE

Make material and finish selections
Approve the schedule and start date
Confirm any selections that carry long lead times
RYDR HANDLES
Manage the crew, the trades, and the daily schedule
Keep one point of contact for all your questions
Coordinate inspections as the work progresses
Protect the rest of the house and clean the site
YOU DECIDE
Keep the work area accessible
Respond to selection questions so nothing stalls
Approve any change in scope before we proceed
Tell us early if something isn't looking right
RYDR HANDLES
Walk the finished job with you
Address the punch list items
Clean the space and haul off debris
Hand over documentation and close out inspections
YOU DECIDE
Walk the job and tell us what you see
Confirm the punch list is complete
Keep the warranty and manual paperwork
Enjoy the space
Before you start
Common questions
The things homeowners ask us most often in that first conversation.
No. The first walkthrough and conversation are free. We'd rather find out early whether
we're the right fit for the project than have you pay to find out.
It depends entirely on scope. A bathroom is measured in weeks, an ADU or full build in
months. You'll get a realistic schedule in the planning stage before anything starts — and
we'd rather quote a date we can hit than one you want to hear.
We do. Where a job needs drawings, engineering, or a permit through your city or the
county, we handle the submittals and any corrections that come back.
Nothing changes without your approval. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, we
stop, show you, price the fix, and wait for your sign-off before we keep going.
Yes — California license 1150866, and we carry insurance. Ask and we'll send current
certificates.
Sonoma County and the surrounding area. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call
and ask.
